What does it mean to be a Sponsor of the Cupid’s Chase 5K Run?
Being a sponsor of the Cupid’s Chase 5K Run means that you or your company value the lives of people with disabilities and support the advancement of the mission of COI. As a sponsor it means that you believe that adults with disabilities should have the opportunity to live their lives in community-based homes that we develop and not institutions. As a sponsor it means that you believe people with disabilities should work in competitive employment settings with natural supports. As a sponsor it means that you believe children with disabilities should be supported in their home states as close to their birth families as possible and not sent to outside state institutions. As a sponsor it means that you believe youth with disabilities graduating from high school should be prepared through transition services that will allow them to job sample and find out what they truly want to do when they grow up!
